Steven J. Hickman, 56, passed away at his home in Long Beach, CA on July 31, 2017.  He was born in Caldwell, ID on October 27, 1960 to Fred and Roberta Hickman.

He attended Gem State Academy and Nampa High School. Steven held numerous jobs and spent 20 years working construction in California until October 23, 2011 when he was shot in the back and became paralyzed from the chest down.

He was preceded in death by his identical twin brother, Terry and his brother, Floyd C. Hickman; one nephew, Jared Hickman.

Steven is survived by his wife, Mariette; two sons, Brian and Kadison; his parents, Fred and Roberta; two sisters, Jolene, Luella Braswell; one brother, Anthony; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

There will be a viewing on Wednesday, August 9,  by2017 from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 Noon at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel, 404 10th Avenue South, Nampa, Idaho.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell.
