Ken McCarthy

Ken McCarthy

Family Service Advisor and Preneed Funeral Specialist

I began my career as a family services counselor in Denver, Colorado in 1982. In 1986, I moved to Spokane, Washington, where I managed the Family Service team for 24 years before moving to Boise with my wife Lorrie.

I love helping people and look forward to serving this community every day while being available to spend more time with my grandchildren that are in the Boise area.

Susan Bosworth

Office Administrator

As the Administrator for Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, I coordinate with staff, funeral directors and families to arrange placement of their loved ones, starting from the necessary forms and documents to the design and placement of memorials.

Originally from California, I moved to Idaho in 2004 to be closer to family. I had previously worked in the real estate, construction and land development industry for over twelve years before obtaining my Real Estate License. After the housing market crash, I was looking for a career that was more rewarding. I remembered how well our family was taken care of when my mother passed away in 2005 and how the staff at our sister company Cloverdale Funeral Home took such great care of us and with their attention to detail. I jumped at the chance to work with such a great team of people.

I spend my free time with my family doing all sorts of activities. On the weekends, you may find me with my dog Reagan at the Meridian dog park watching her make friends with everyone she meets.
